> Does EPNEC offer on-site audio visual services?
Yes. EPNEC owns and maintains its own audio visual equipment. It has dedicated staff that is trained on the equipment and available to answer your questions.
> May I project from my laptop?
Yes. However, it is recommended that you stop by the projection booth before the meeting or at one of the breaks to test your laptop before you present.
> What tips and tricks do you recommend for PowerPoint presentations?
We recommend that the fonts should be 18pt or larger (24pt is optimal) and 36pt is a good size for titles. To test, step about 10 feet back from your monitor and try to read your slides. We also recommend using high contrasting colors like yellow fonts on black or blue background as darker backgrounds are easier to project and view.
> How should I bring my PowerPoint Presentation to EPNEC?
USB Thumb Drive, Memory Stick, CD, DVD, Floppy or Zip Disk.
> Can I email EPNEC my presentation?
We don't recommend email because it is possible that the files are too large to be received. It is better to bring your file(s) with you. If this is not a viable option for you, please contact your conference coordinator and alternative arrangements can be made.
> Can I bring presentations that have movie and/or sound files?
Yes. Use PowerPoint’s Pack and Go feature. Pack and Go is found under the file menu. If using Office 2007, go to the office button, select publish and then package for CD (it will let you choose whether you want to create a folder or burn it to a CD). When given the option, chose to include linked files and embed trutype fonts.
> What type of technology is available at EPNEC?
HD Video Teleconferencing, Live Surgery Broadcasting, Satellite up and down links, Videotaping, Technician for Duration of Event.
>Can I rent AV Equipment from EPNEC?
